Our common goal is a "waste less future". So: what is waste?

Waste is a human made object, that is of no more use any more.

So: we should reduce ? the objects we use. We should reuse the objects we can not avoid. And we should recycle the objects that are not usable any more.

Recycling can mean different actions:

the best is to upcycle a piece of waste into a thing of higher value.

The second option is to repair or restore ? a thing that is broken ?.

Another option is to reuse the material ? it is made of.
